Q: What is NwReader ? 

NwReader is a Windows NT compatible online Newsreader, it provides no offline Newsreading or article download functions like Free Agent. You should use NwReader in conjunction with a local Newsserver like mailtraq, dnews, hamster or inn.

Q:Why should I use NwReader ?

NwReader is fast and handy program, made for 32 bit Windows. It is a brand new developed application ( YES it has bugs...), made for large Newsgroups, for a multi server environment, for fast thereading in large Newsgroups, for decoding binaries and viewing pictures in the built in pictureviewer...

NwReader is more than a simple Newsreader.....

Its a growing project, more a internet client suite.

Q: Copyright / Copyleft / Freeware / Commercial product ?

NwReader is a freeware application. You can use it in an commercial or non-commercial environment. We have no plans to make a commercial or shareware version of NwReader.

NwReader is simply a gift to the internet community !

Q:What are the System Requirements ?

NwReader is developed and tested with a Windows NT 4.0 environment. It should work in Win95 Win98 or Win2000 too. If you have any / no problems with other systems, feedback is appreciated.

Q: Installation ?

You can install NwReader in two ways:

a) Setup-program single or multi part

b) Manual installation

Unzip the contents of the downloaded Zipfiles to an empty directory. Start Nwreader.exe, thats all.
